Privacy: the waitlist

A plain-language summary of the waitlist only. It will be replaced by our full privacy policy before Kivá launches.

What we store

• Your email address.
• What you told us in the optional questions: what you sell (and, if you choose "something else", the few words you type about what), how many listings a month, and where you'd like to use Kivá. Please don't put personal details in the free-text box.
• When you ticked the consent box, and which wording you agreed to.
• A short tag if you came from a link that had one (for example a campaign name).

What we don't store

• Your IP address, in our waitlist records. To stop bots and repeat submissions the server counts attempts per address in its memory for up to an hour. That count is never written to the list or to disk. (Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for a short time for security and troubleshooting.)
• Your browser or device details.
• Anything about how you browse this site. This site sets no cookies and has no analytics or advertising trackers.

Where it is kept, and who can see it

The list is kept in a database hosted by Supabase (us-east-1), which stores it on our behalf. The connection is encrypted. The part of this site that receives your sign-up can only add to the list: it has no way to read, change or delete it. Only we can read the list.

Why

To email you when Kivá's early access opens, and to decide what to build first (for example how many people want an iPhone app). Nothing else, and we don't sell or share the list.
